Veteran newscaster Raymond Goh dies

FORMER TV3 Nightline news bulletin anchor Raymond Goh died today after having a stroke.  

“Raymond passed away peacefully this morning after bravely battling the effects of a stroke.

“Once again, the family of Raymond would like to express our gratitude to his friends and supporters for the outpouring of love and support during this trying period,” the veteran newscaster’s wife, Faridah Teh, and family said.

Goh, whose Muslim name is Muhammad Zaman Goh Abdullah, had begun his career as a newscaster on the 7 o’clock news before anchoring TV3’s Nightline news bulletin.

He was also a trainer with 30 years of experience.

The funeral prayers will be held at Masjid At-Taqwa, Taman Tun Dr Ismail in Kuala Lumpur after Asar prayer. Goh will be buried at the Bukit Kiara Muslim cemetery today. – September 12, 2023.
