DUTCH football authorities yesterday blocked up to 500 tickets for this week’s Euro 2024 qualifier between the Netherlands and Greece, saying they were illegally bought on the black market.

Another 200 tickets are also under investigation as the Royal Dutch Football Federation (KNVB) cracked down on non-official ticket sales via various online ticket sites.

“If your ticket is on the list, you will NOT get access to the stadium,” the KNVB said, adding “for further questions consult the organisation from which you bought it”.

The KNVB said it was “actively” at games looking for tickets not bought from its official ticket shop or from approved partners.

“If not, you run the risk of either paying too much, or not allowed into the stadium,” the KNVB said.
