TOURISM Terengganu has denied collecting rent from Jom Heboh stalls.  

Its director, Fadli Yusof, said there was an allegation circulating on social media that Tourism Terengganu had sold the lots and hired an agent to collect rental deposits.  

Fadil said they were taking the allegation seriously and advised those who were duped to make a police report to prevent more of this from happening. 

 “This is absolutely untrue, and we urge the affected traders or the public to immediately report to the police,” he said in a statement today. 

Fadli said Tourism Terengganu also advised the public to follow its progress on its official social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. 

The last Jom Heboh programme was held in Terengganu on October 7 and 8, 2022 at the Gong Badak Stadium compound in Kuala Nerus. – Bernama, September 3, 2023.
