TV channel Awesome TV could not be included in the National Day parade because of time constraints, Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil said.

Fahmi said several other companies have also been dropped from the parade at Dataran Putrajaya on Thursday.

“We see it from the perspective of the duration of the programme. There are several parties who applied to participate in the parade which we could not accommodate,” he said.

“It’s not just one company (that was dropped). There is a limited time frame if viewed in terms of overall allotted time,” he said in Putrajaya today.

The creative and broadcasting industry contingent participating in the National Day parade is made up of local media agencies. – Bernama, August 26, 2023.
