According to a list of exco members issued by the office of newly sworn Selangor Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari, Umno’s Sungai Air Tawar assemblyman Rizam Ismail will be BN’s sole representative in the executive council.

The 10-member Selangor state executive council has four representatives from DAP, three from PKR and two from Amanah.

Sze Han, Izham and Borhan previously served as executive councillors, while the other six are new faces in the state government.

All 10 executive councillors have taken their oath of office before Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah at Istana Alam Shah in Klang today.

Amirudin said he will chair his first executive council meeting at noon on Wednesday and announce the portfolios of his line-up.

The Pakatan Harapan-BN coalition won 34 of the 56 seats in the state election on August 12, with Perikatan Nasional claiming the remaining 22. – August 21, 2023.
