TRANSPORT Minister Anthony Loke today visited the family of one of the victims of Thursday’s plane crash.

Loke said he offered condolences to the family of an e-hailing driver who was killed when his car was hit by the light aircraft on the Guthrie Highway near Bandar Elmina in Shah Alam, Selangor.

“It was such a tragic and sad incident. The government will try its best to help the victims’ families,” he said in a Facebook post today.

Loke said the e-hailing company’s representatives were also present at the home of the victim’s family to help in processing insurance claims.

On Thursday, a Beechcraft Model 390 (Premier 1) light business jet aircraft crashed near Bandar Elmina, killing 10 people, including Pahang exco member Johari Harun.

The 10 are the six passengers and two crew members on board as well as a motorist and a motorcyclist on the road. – August 19, 2023.
