3 killed, 3 injured in Jakarta hotel fire

AT least three people were killed and three others injured after a fire broke out at a hotel in the southern part of Indonesia’s capital Jakarta late yesterday, Xinhua reported today.

Police said the blaze started at around 11.50pm local time yesterday at the F2 Hotel in the subdistrict of Kebayoran Baru, and was extinguished by 2.40am today.

Subdistrict police chief Tribuana Roseno told the media that three hotel guests, who were trapped in a room with no ventilation, died in the fire. Three other injured guests are currently being treated at a hospital.
