AT least three people are believed dead after a light aircraft crashed on the Guthrie Corridor Expressway near Bandar Elmina this afternoon.
The dead were said to be the pilot, a passenger and a motorcyclist.
Shah Alam district police chief Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim confirmed the incident.
Initial checks showed the plane was en route to Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport from Langkawi.
The craft is a Beechcraft Model 390 (Premier 1) with the registration number N28JV.
China Press said the craft plummeted to the ground and exploded upon impact. Debris from the plane struck the motorcyclist.
