Around 70% voter turnout at 4pm

VOTER turnout stood at about 70% in the state elections and Kuala Terengganu by-election at 4pm.

Terengganu recorded the highest number of voters at 70%, followed by Kedah with 68%, Penang (67%), Selangor (65%), Negri Sembilan (62%) and Kelantan (56%).

The Election Commission said 67% of voters have polled in the Kuala Terengganu by-election. – August 12, 2023.
