SELANGOR caretaker menteri besar Amirudin Shari is confident the Pakatan Harapan-Barisan Nasional pact will win the state at the end of today’s polls.

The Selangor PH chairman and his wife Masdiana Muhamad were among the early voters at SJKT Selayang Baru this morning.

“I’m 70-80% optimistic, but hopefully we will win more Malay seats to capture 40 -41 seats, which is more than a two-thirds majority.

“We worked hard for the election and today is the day of judgment. I’m confident the non-Malays will come out and vote too.

“Vote early as the weather could be a concern later in the day,” the incumbent Sungai Tua assemblyman said as he left the polling station.” – August 12, 2023.
