KUALA Lumpur police chief Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain has been appointed Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department (CID) director effective August 30.
Police corporate communications chief A. Skandaguru said Integrity and Standards Compliance Department deputy director Allaudeen Abdul Majid will fill the vacancy left by Shuhaily with the rank of commissioner of police.
In addition, Commercial Crime Investigation Department principal assistant director Mohamed Usuf Jan Mohamad is appointed Penang deputy police chief with the rank of deputy commissioner of police (DCP).
“Kuala Lumpur Police Training Centre commander Noor Hisam Nordin is appointed Pahang deputy police chief with the rank of DCP,” he said in a statement last night.
Kedah Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department chief Alzafny Ahmad was appointed police secretary, the Inspector-General of Police Office Secretariat with the rank of DCP.
Allaudeen, Usuf, Noor Hisam and Alzafny are among the 18 senior officials involved in the transfer exercise, all of which will take effect on August 30. – Bernama, August 11, 2023.
