A TOTAL of 260 early voting centres for the Kedah, Kelantan, Terengganu, Penang, Selangor and Negri Sembilan elections simultaneously opened at 8am.
Also open are three early voting centres at the Terengganu contingent police headquarters for the Kuala Terengganu parliamentary by-election.
According to the Election Commission (EC) website, the electoral roll for the six state elections and the Kuala Terengganu by-election was updated on June 21.
The roll has 49,660 military and 47,728 police members and their respective spouses.
Meanwhile, 1,362 police and 35 military members and their spouses will vote early in the Kuala Terengganu by-election.
The early voting centres will close in stages.
Polling is on August 12. Campaigning is for 14 days and ends at 11.59pm on Friday. – Bernama, August 8, 2023.
