THE Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) is looking for former prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin’s son-in-law Adlan Berhan and lawyer Mansoor Saat.

In a statement, the anti-graft body said the two are wanted to assist MACC’s probe into a project involving the registration, recruitment and storage of foreign worker biometric data at a ministry.

“Based on MACC’s checks with the Immigration Department, the two left the country on May 17 and 21 respectively, and there are no records of their return,” it said.

“Various efforts have been made by MACC to contact the duo and their respective lawyers, but they had failed to present themselves at MACC’s office.”

Adlan’s last known address is Lot 65, Sunway Kiara Hills, Jalan 32/70A, Desa Sri Hartamas, Kuala Lumpur.

Mansoor, 69, has a last known address at 5, Jalan SS19/1C, Subang Jaya, Selangor.

MACC said those with information about the two are requested to contact investigating officer Nur Muhammad Amin Jamaluddin at 603-88700799 or 016-4322 699 or e-mail to [email protected].

Muhyiddin, who is Bersatu president, has previously denied any involvement in the award of a lucrative contract allegedly linking Adlan to the Home Ministry.

The Pagoh MP also said he was never involved in the awarding of the National Integrated Immigration System contract to IRIS Corporation Bhd for which there had been an open tender. – August 7, 2023.
