A 28-YEAR-OLD MAN is feared to have drowned while swimming at the Alor Lempah recreation park in Kuala Kubu Baru, Hulu Selangor, today.

The Selangor Fire and Rescue Department operations centre said it received a distress call about the incident at 7.54am today and a Kuala Kubu Baru fire and rescue station team was dispatched to the location.

“The search and rescue operation was also assisted by the water rescue team from the Shah Alam and Port Klang fire and rescue stations.

“The team arrived at the location at 10.50am and the search for the victim was carried out in a high current area and at a water depth of 5m,” he said, adding that the search is still ongoing. – Bernama, August 6, 2023.
