THE planned closure of Jalan Sungai Besi near the Loke Yew roundabout scheduled for tomorrow has been postponed, according to Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL).
DBKL, in a statement today, said road users can continue travelling on this route as per usual.
“The media statement dated August 1, 2023 by DBKL on the road closure scheduled to begin on August 5, 2023 until August 4, 2024 has been cancelled,” the statement read.
DBKL, however, did not say how long the postponement would last.
According to DBKL’s earlier statement, the road would be closed to enable renovation and bridge construction works at the Loke Yew roundabout. – Bernama, August 4, 2023.
