MOHD Zaidy Abdul Kadir, Barisan Nasional’s (BN) candidate for Jeram Padang, was involved in a road crash this morning.

Umno secretary-general  Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki said Zaidy sustained minor injuries in the crash that occurred at Jalan Pasir Besar-Palong at 3.25am.

He said Zaidy was in stable condition.

“The driver is in quite critical condition, please pray for both of them to recover completely and be relieved from all pain,” he said in a Facebook post. 

Zaidy is facing Perikatan Nasional’s S. Sreenivasan for the Jeram Padang seat.

MIC’s L. Manickam won the seat for BN in the 2018 general election with a 1,062-vote majority over Sreenivasan, who contested as an Independent then. – July 31, 2023.
