Amanah names candidates for 31 seats

AMANAH president Mohamad Sabu today named the party’s 31 candidates in the six-state elections on August 12.

He said the party, contesting under the Pakatan Harapan banner, will field nine candidates each in Selangor and Kedah, and seven in Kelantan.

It will also field two candidates each in Penang, Negri Sembilan and Terengganu.

Of the 31 candidates, seven are women and another seven from Amanah youth. Nine are incumbents while 15 are fresh faces.
