THE body of an Indonesian man was found wrapped in a black plastic sheet in the boot of a car on the roadside near Taman Sri Orkid, in Section 30, Shah Alam yesterday.

Shah Alam deputy police chief Ramsay Anak Embol said passers-by tipped police off on the discovery of the body at about 3.25pm.

He said the body was found in the boot of a black Honda City, believed to have been at the location for about three days.

“The body was then sent to Shah Alam Hospital for a post-mortem,” he said in a statement today.

Following that, he said, four suspects including an Indonesian woman, all in their 40s, were arrested about 7pm on the same day near the scene.

Initial investigations found the motive for the murder to be due to jealousy. The probe is ongoing.

All suspects are on remand from today until July 10 for investigation under section 302 of the penal code. – Bernama, July 5, 2023.
