THE Election Commission (EC) will hold a special meeting this morning to set important dates for elections in six states. 

The meeting at Menara SPR in Putrajaya will be led by EC chairman Abdul Ghani Salleh.

Among the dates to be decided at the meeting are for the issuance of the election writ, nomination day, polling day, electoral roll announcement, and other preparations for the six state elections.

The EC will hold a press conference to announce the dates after the meeting. – Bernama, July 5, 2023.
