DATA from a study revealing rising support for Pakatan Harapan (PH) will be released this month, PKR deputy president Rafizi Ramli said.
The economy minister said data from the survey will debunk claims there is a wave of shifting votes to Perikatan Nasional (PN) in the six state elections.
Initial data of the survey conducted up to June showed support for PN is waning and there is stiff competition in Kedah and Kelantan.
The survey data also showed that the PH government in three of six states facing polls is in a comfortable situation, he told reporters after attending a gathering with ministry staff today.
PN chairman Muhyiddin Yassin on June 26 said the PN wave, which began in the 15th general election, will continue in the six state elections.
Election Commission (EC) secretary Ikmalrudin Ishak was reported as saying EC had received notices on the official dissolution of state assemblies in Kedah, Kelantan, Terengganu, Penang, Selangor as well as Negri Sembilan.
A special meeting will be held tomorrow to discuss the election date for the six states.
The three states under PH now are Selangor, Penang and Negri Sembilan, while Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu are led by PN. β Bernama, July 4, 2023.
