A POLICEMAN was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head at the Rembau district police’s Criminal Investigation Division office yesterday.

Negri Sembilan police chief Ahmad Dzaffir Mohd Yussof said the body was found at 6.30pm and then sent to Tuanku Ja’afar Hospital in Seremban for a post-mortem.

The case is classified as sudden death and a probe is ongoing, he said in a statement today.

He advised the public not to make any statements that could interfere with police investigation and to respect the family of the deceased. – Bernama, July 2, 2023.
