PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang was admitted to hospital after feeling unwell just before Hari Raya Haji, his son Muhammad Khalil Abdul Hadi said.

“My father’s health slightly worsened before Hari Raya Aidiladha and he is under observation in the hospital,” Khalil said on Facebook today.

“He was not in the best of health during the launch of the PAS youth election machinery in Terengganu a few days ago but was determined to be there,” he said.

Khalil did not state which hospital Hadi was in.

He urged the people to pray for Hadi’s health.

Khalil told Malay daily Sinar Harian that his father’s condition was stable.

“He has been hospitalised for a few days for observation.”

Khalil did not disclose his father’s illness.

In June 2021, the 75-year-old Marang MP was admitted to the National Heart Institute for breathing difficulties. He was treated twice in the facility in April 2020 after complaining of fatigue. – July 31, 2023.
