THE Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry has approved 1.09 million litres of petrol and diesel as additional quota for Hari Raya Haji.

Minister Salahuddin Ayub said the quota includes 311,000 litres of RON95 and 783,000 litres of diesel. 

He said the ministry is aware there might be an increase in fuel consumption during the holiday. 

“The ministry has approved the bulk quota for this month to be distributed to three main petrol companies – Petronas (529,000 litres of petrol and diesel), Petron (320,000 litres of petrol and diesel) and Chevron (245,000 litres of petrol and diesel).”

The Pulai MP said his ministry will ensure fuel is supplied to every service station in the country. – Bernama, June 27, 2023.
