A COP who gained notoriety through videos showing her berating her fellow officers has been suspended, Home Minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said.

He said two investigation papers on the policewoman have been referred to the Attorney-General’s Chambers for further action.

“The Police Integrity and Standards Compliance Department has opened six separate probes into the videos,” Saifuddin said.

The cop, who is an inspector, was detained last week.

It was earlier reported police had received word of the policewoman causing a ruckus at a shopping centre in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur.

Prior to this incident, two video clips showed her berating a lance corporal in Gombak, Selangor.

The cases against her are being investigated under section 506 of the penal code for criminal intimidation, and section 14 of the Minor Offences Act 1955 for obstructing a public servant from carrying out their duties and using rude, disgraceful, or insulting words. – June 22, 2023.

  • About time and conduct & complete the investigation thoroughly after which shared to the public what was the findings as public is keen to know the outcome what action would be taken against her. If there is no wrong doing from her side then something is wrong some where. I am just wondering what action would be taken against her, a sacking would be appropriate as many would love to have her blood but to be fair as we do not know what actually trigger her goes in such a mode. So would she be eventually be demoted to a lance corporal? transfer to a remote rural area or confine to a desk job in some store, no promotion review what so ever for the next 5 years. I wonder if she would ever come open publicly offers an apology.
