JOHOR Umno will be mobilised to help its Negeri Sembilan counterparts campaign in the coming state polls, Johor Umno deputy chairman Ahmad Maslan said.

“Johor has been assigned to help Negri Sembilan. I hope all 26 divisions in this state will send those who are experienced and committed to help our friends.

“I would like to suggest that division chiefs go to their adopted divisions early and not wait until the dissolution of the state assembly or nomination day,” he told a press conference after visiting Wisma Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) Johor in Johor Baru today.

The Umno supreme council member said this when asked which state Johor had been assigned to help in the coming polls in Selangor, Penang, Negri Sembilan, Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu.

Ahmad, who is also Pontian MP, said the Johor Umno machinery should go all out to help Negri Sembilan Umno, just like how Kedah Umno had assisted Barisan Nasional to win the last Johor state elections. – Bernama, June 18, 2023.
