A FEMALE cop who gained viral attention in multiple videos, one of which showed her berating fellow police officers, has been arrested.

Selangor police chief Hussein Omar Khan, in a statement, said Gombak police nabbed the 35-year-old officer at 1.20am.

Police also seized a mobile phone from the woman to assist in investigations.

“The suspect will be granted bail after a thorough investigation is conducted, as more police reports have been filed involving the suspect,” he said in a statement.

The case is currently under investigation under section 506 of the penal code for criminal intimidation. 

Another report has been filed against the woman by a policeman under section 186 of the penal code and section 14 of the Minor Offences Act 1955, accusing her of obstructing a public servant from carrying out their duties and using rude, disgraceful, or insulting words. 

Other than berating a lower rank policeman, the police officer was also recorded shouting at a woman in a heated argument at a temple.

The third incident took place at a parking lot. According to the female officer, the person recording the viral clip shouted at her and called her crazy, despite her only wanting to park her car. – June 18, 2023.
