MUAFAKAT Nasional (MN) president and former Umno stalwart Annuar Musa has officially joined PAS, party secretary-general Takiyuddin Hassan said.

Takiyuddin said PAS accepted the former Ketereh MP’s membership application as well as those of 3,000 others today.

“I wish to confirm that Tan Sri Annuar Musa has been accepted as a PAS member… together with 3,000 others,” he said at a rally in Seremban tonight.

“Many have applied to become members of PAS, Bersatu… (after this) names of other community leaders who have also joined PAS will be announced from time to time.”

Also present were Perikatan Nasional (PN) chairman Muhyiddin Yassin and PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang.

Hadi later presented a membership certificate to Annuar, who was sacked by Umno. – Bernama, June 10, 2023.
