BERSATU deputy president Ahmad Faizal Azumu today confirmed that he has been appointed Negri Sembilan Perikatan Nasional (PN) chairman.

Faizal is replacing former Kuala Pilah MP Eddin Syazlee Shith.

He said the move is among several strategies towards final preparations for the party’s election machinery ahead of state polls.

“Datuk Eddin Syazlee remains in the leadership structure. He has performed well.

“The current move is to involve the central leadership to ... smooth out the journey of the party machinery,” he told Bernama in Seremban today.

But Faizal refused to comment on why Eddin Syazlee has been removed as state PN chairman. – Bernama, June 2, 2023.
