PERIKATAN Nasional (PN) will use the coalition’s existing logo in four states in local elections like it did in the last general election (GE).

Its chairman Muhyiddin Yassin said the four states are Penang, Selangor, Negri Sembilan and Kedah, and PN is waiting for the final word from Kelantan and Terengganu.

“We have been using it (logo) until today. PAS also used the logo in Kedah. PAS hasn’t asked for it to be changed.

“It is fine if Kelantan and Terengganu want to use the PAS logo since the people already know about PN. We are all on good terms in PN. (The relationship) has actually improved compared with the last GE,” he said in Muar today.

He said this at a press conference at the Pagoh parliamentary and Bukit Kepong state constituencies’ Raya event, which was also attended by Bukit Kepong assemblyman Sahruddin Jamal. 

Muhyiddin said the state elections will serve as a new benchmark to dictate the future direction of the country’s politics. – Bernama, May 20, 2023.
