THE Communications and Digital Ministry will call in the organisers of the Coldplay concert to understand their ticketing system and procedure.

Minister Fahmi Fadzil said this after complaints from people who faced difficulty purchasing tickets due to scalpers buying in bulk.

He said they will discuss measures the organiser can implement to ensure the issue does not recur.

“Among the things we may look into is the way tickets were bought, and whether there should be restrictions or certain conditions imposed on the organisers.

“We are also looking at existing legal provisions in case we need to take action,” he told reporters before paying a courtesy call on Sarawak Premier Abang Johari Tun Openg in Kuching today.

Coldplay’s “Music of The Spheres World Tour” concert is scheduled for November 22 at Bukit Jalil National Stadium, marking its first-ever concert in Malaysia. – Bernama, May 19, 2023.
