TALKS on seat distribution among Perikatan Nasional (PN) component parties for the six state elections due this year are almost completed with only three or four seats left to resolved, said PN secretary-general Hamzah Zainudin.

“We have held many meetings. InsyaAllah only three or four seats need further discussions,” he told reporters at the Larut parliamentary constituency Hari Raya open house today.

Selangor, Negri Sembilan, Penang, Kedah, Terengganu and Kelantan must hold elections this year because they did not hold their state polls together with last year’s general election.

Asked on PN’s chances in the coming state polls, Hamzah, who is Larut MP, said the coalition’s performance would depend on the people’s perception.
