SEAT distribution decisions for Barisan Nasional (BN) and Pakatan Harapan (PH) for six state elections will be made after the state assemblies are dissolved, BN deputy chairman Mohamad Hasan said.

He said seat talks are ongoing and the decisions will be made by BN and PH’s top leaders.

“Don’t talk about seats first; think about how we want to win under the unity government,” the defence minister told reporters at his family’s open house in Kampung Tanjong, Rantau, Rembau, today.

Also present at the event were Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Foreign Minister Zambry Abdul Kadir, and Negri Sembilan Speaker Zulkefly Mohamad Omar.

Mohamad, who is also BN election director, said seat talks will be between BN and PH, not among their member parties. – Bernama, April 30, 2023.
