BARISAN Nasional (BN) will not exclude any of its components from seat negotiations for the state elections, its secretary-general Zambry Abdul Kadir said. 

He said seat distribution decisions are subject to the mutual agreement of BN components. 

“In yesterday’s BN Supreme Council meeting, it was decided the matter will be discussed amicably between the BN and PH (Pakatan Harapan) coalitions,” he said.

He said this to reporters at a Raya event organised by Ipoh Timur MP Howard Lee and Tebing Tinggi assemblyman Aziz Bari.

Earlier, MCA vice-president Tan Teik Cheng reportedly said seat negotiations between BN and PH should include all member parties. – Bernama, April 29, 2023.
