Slow-moving traffic on major highways this morning

TRAFFIC flow on several major highways is reported to be slow-moving at 10.30am as motorists hit the road on the second day of Hari Raya.

A Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) spokesman said traffic flow is sluggish before the Gombak toll plaza from the direction of Batu Caves and that the number of vehicles on the highways is expected to increase by noon.

Traffic is reported to be slow-moving in the northbound direction from Slim River to Tapah and in the southbound direction from Seremban to Pedas Linggi and Southville to Nilai.

Traffic is also reported to be at a crawl from Kulai to Sedenak.
