THE results of Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Barisan Nasional’s (BN) seat negotiations for six state elections will be announced after Raya or by the end of May, PH communications director Fahmi Fadzil said.

He said PH and BN’s top leaders will announce the results.

“I believe the party leadership will announce the result of the seat negotiation soon, and I expect it to be very positive,” he told reporters after attending the Malaysia Digital Catalytic Programme announcement in Kuala Lumpur today.

Fahmi said details about the negotiations will be better furnished by PH secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution Ismail or PKR vice-president Mohd Rafizi Ramli.

Earlier, Saifuddin Nasution said direct negotiations about seat allocations in six state elections were been held between PH and BN. 

On February 22, the chief ministers of six states – Selangor, Penang, Negri Sembilan, Kedah, Terengganu and Kelantan – agreed to consider dissolving their state assemblies in the last two weeks of June to make way for state polls. – Bernama, April 17, 2023.
