LAWMAKERS will today question the government over its basis to place the cost of pilgrims’ expenses according to B40, M40 and T20 income categories.
Ahmad Saad @ Yahaya (Pokok Sena-PN) will pose the question to the prime minister.
Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman (Muar-PH) will ask the rural and regional development minister on a proposal to create a paid Mara Junior Science College for the affluent.
During the oral question and answer session, Dr Alias Razak (Kuala Nerus-PN) will ask the health minister on whether the government has plans to build multi-storey car parks in all government hospitals to resolve the issue of limited parking spaces.
Dr Wee Ka Siong (Ayer Hitam-BN) will ask the home minister on when the Federal Constitution can be amended to enable children born overseas to Malaysian mothers, who are married to foreigners, to automatically become citizens.
The Dewan Rakyat sitting will then continue with the debate and the winding up of the Supply Bill 2023 at the committee level. – Bernama, March 23, 2023.
