CIVIL servants in grade 56 and below will receive RM700 in duit Raya under Budget 2023.

Finance Minister Anwar Ibrahim said contract workers in government service will get RM350.

Pensioners will be paid  RM350.

“The money will be paid out in April,” said Anwar.

National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) borrowers will receive discounts of up to 20% on their loans, he said.

He said borrowers with a monthly income of RM1,800 and below will be allowed to defer repayment for six months.. 

Applications for the deferral will open on March 1. – February 24, 2023.
