DAILY Covid-19 cases remained below 250 in Malaysia for the week February 18-23. 

The country reported 1,202 cases in six days, down 8% from the February 11-16 week.

No virus deaths were reported on February 22 and 21.

According to Health Ministry (MOH) as of 11.59pm yesterday, 8,952 (96.6%) of the 9,270 active cases were home quarantined.

Total coronavirus cases stood at 5,041,811 with 4,995,584 recoveries and 36,957 deaths. 

Malaysia entered the transition to endemic phase on April 1 last year. – Bernama, February 24, 2023.
