Fire dept delivers food to 6 Orang Asli outposts

THE Fire and Rescue Department delivered nearly six tonnes of food by air yesterday to six Orang Asli posts.

Subang Central Region Base operations commander Wahyudi Mohd Sayuhti said the operation to deliver 25 tonnes of food to the community resumed yesterday after it was disrupted by heavy rain on Friday.

“Yesterday’s operation began at 10 am and involved two helicopters, the Agusta A109E and Agusta Westland AW189. 

“A total of 5.9 tonnes of food was successfully delivered to Kampung Gawin and Kampung Gob in Pos Gob, Kampung Jader and Kampung Ladoi in Pos Simpor, as well as Kampung Sempadik in Pos Belatim,” he said in Gua Musang today.
