Anwar to strengthen cabinet to tackle issues  


PRIME Minister Anwar Ibrahim will continue to strengthen the unity government and its cabinet members by organising various programmes.  

The National Institute of Public Administration said Anwar, together with 27 ministers and 10 senior government officials, had attended a special retreat that took place at Seri Perdana Complex, Putrajaya today. 

It said the main aim of the retreat was to address and tackle issues in the country. 

“The programme is implemented to strengthen the agreement and unity among the ministers,” it said in a statement.  

In accordance with the wishes of Anwar, the briefing addressed important points related to the strengthening of governance and service delivery. 

The aspects covered included public administration, financial management, procurement, and sustainable development. 

Chief Secretary to the Government Mohd Zuki Ali also delivered a briefing on the implementation of key performance indicators for all who attended the session. – January 15, 2023.
