UMNO’S decision to join the unity government will not be discussed via a special motion at the party’s general assembly this week.

Party secretary-general Ahmad Maslan said the party president will instead present the facts in his keynote speech to the delegates on Friday.

Ahmad Zahid Hamidi will also explain the move to the delegates in a pre-council presidential briefing, he said.

The delegates are expected to share the information with the grassroots,” said Ahmad at party headquarters in Kuala Lumpur today.
