PRIME Minister Anwar Ibrahim has given Universiti Teknologi Mara debaters who will take part in the World Universities Debating Championship (WUDC) in Spain his best wishes.

The championship will take place from December 27 to January 4 at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid.

“I have also given a small (financial) contribution to the undergraduates to help them in their travels and activities throughout their stay in Madrid.

“The contribution was handed over by my political secretary Ahmad Farhan Fauzi to them yesterday,” he said in his Facebook.

The team left for Spain yesterday.

Anwar also wished best of luck to the teams from Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia and Universiti Malaya who will also participate in the competition. – December 25, 2022.
