A TOTAL of 2,311 people across six states are still in flood shelters as of 4pm today.

In KELANTAN, 2,006 people remain in seven Pasir Mas relief centres: SK Tok Deh, SK Gual Periok, SK Kubang Kual, SK Sri Kiambang, PPS Putat Tujoh, Masjid Mukim Padang Licin and SK Kedai Tanjong.

In TERENGGANU, 29 people are all being housed at the sole relief centre still open: SK Atas Tol in Kuala Terengganu.

In PAHANG, 141 people remain at SK Sinar Mutiara in Sungai Miang, Pekan.

Similarly in JOHOR, 91 evacuees remain in two flood-hit districts: Segamat and Mersing.

In PERAK, 35 people are still in shelters as of 4 pm, at SA Rakyat Padang Serai, Manjung, and at Dewan Orang Ramai Kampung Tebing Tinggi in Kampar.
