THE Meteorological Department of Malaysia (MetMalaysia) predicted sunny weather in the morning on polling day in Padang Serai, Kedah tomorrow, while in the afternoon there would be thunderstorms or rain.

In the Tioman state constituency in Pahang, rain is expected in the morning and fair weather in the afternoon.

MetMalaysia director-general Muhammad Helmi Abdullah said voters are advised to stay up to date regarding the weather.

“Plan your trip to the polling stations by referring to the weather forecasts and warnings issued by MetMalaysia on the department’s various official communication platforms.

“Go out to vote early if the weather is expected to be good in the early morning. Don’t delay because the weather in the tropics can change quickly with thunderstorms and heavy rain occurring in a short time,” he said today.

Voting in the Padang Serai parliamentary constituency and Tioman state seat will take place tomorrow for the 2022 general election and polling is scheduled to end at 6pm. – Bernama, December 6, 2022.
