ANWAR Ibrahim will announce a partial cabinet line-up tomorrow, sources have said. 

He is expected to do so somewhere between 4pm and 5pm.  

A source said that negotiations with the heads of all parties were ongoing, therefore not all portfolios could be announced.  

However, it was understood that the two deputy prime ministers would be named. Barisan Nasional chairman Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) chief whip Fadillah Yusof are widely tipped to be chosen.  

Anwar will have an audience with Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah earlier in the day, followed by a gathering with locals at Tanjong Rambutan market. 

The prime minister and Tambun MP will perform Friday prayers at Masjid Muhammad Al-Fateh. – December 1, 2022.
