DASH expressway toll begins at midnight

THE Damansara-Shah Alam (DASH) elevated expressway will begin collecting tolls from midnight tonight concessionaire Projek Lintasan Damansara-Shah Alam Sdn Bhd said.

Travel on the 20.1km DASH expressway has been free since it opened 48 days ago on October 14.

The toll is as follows: cars and buses RM2.30, lorries RM4.60, trailers RM6.90, and taxis RM1.20.

Toll booths accept Touch ’N Go, SmartTAG and RFID.

“Users are advised to ensure that their Touch ’N Go cards and e-wallets are topped up before entering the DASH expressway.

“Our operations department will monitor toll collection systems at three toll plazas, aside from stationing officers at the toll plazas, particularly during peak hours, to assist users,” Projek Lintasan Damansara-Shah Alam said in a statement today.

The construction of the DASH expressway, which began in August 2016, was completed in October at a cost of RM4.2 billion. – November 30, 2022.
