PLUS Malaysia (PLUS) today announced the temporary closure of the North-South Expressway (NSE) from the Ipoh Utara toll plaza to the Ipoh Selatan toll plaza, or KM267.3 to KM280.6 (southbound) at 10am to 2.30pm tomorrow.

The stretch of the highway will be closed for an emergency response exercise.

Motorists from Kuala Kangsar and the north are advised to use Federal Road Jalan Jelapang-Ampang slip road while those heading south may re-enter NSE via the Ipoh Selatan toll plaza.

The emergency response exercise will involve various agencies such as the Malaysian Highway Authorities, the Police, Road Transport Department and the Fire and Rescue Department.
