Political stability possible with effective opposition

MALAYSIA’S 15th general election proved that democracy is still alive and well in our country. The people of Malaysia did their duties, and with the guidance of our respected Yang di-Pertuan Agong and rulers, it is clear that the choice made was brilliant. As a fellow Malaysian, I am glad that the political instability after the election was resolved.

A man who has been through hardships throughout his lifetime in the political arena has now been sworn in as the 10th prime minister. I send my great wishes to Anwar Ibrahim, and as a citizen of this country, I hope he will bring great changes to our country.

Perikatan Nasional (PN) lost this election, but it is still committed to serving the people of this country. We have chosen to be an opposition to Anwar’s current government, to ensure political stability. Being in opposition is important in ensuring the voices of the people are heard louder. I don’t think it means we are being excluded from performing our duties. We now play a vital role in making sure the government is well and truly aware of the people’s pain and suffering. This is what they meant by “political stability,” and the need for an opposition is a must.

However, to properly congratulate Anwar, we must first understand that he is a well-respected man in his field. No man is perfect, but he is one of a kind. The recognition he gained from world leaders, especially from countries like Palestine and Japan, speaks volumes. This is why, despite being in opposition, I have my hopes, and I’m sure that the rest of Malaysia feel the same way too. I share the same vision as our 10th prime minister when it comes to serving the people, but perhaps the differences lie within the context of how we want to save our people.

To all PN supporters, know that your voices aren’t shunned just because our coalition did not manage to govern this beautiful country. We are still here to fight and ensure that Malaysia ends up prosperous in every aspect, especially for future generations. – November 29, 2022.

  • Nobody believe in PN unless they stop voicing race and religious issues which are irrelevant in "helping the people".
