BARISAN Nasional (BN) is due to reveal whether it will request its audience with Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah be postponed, according to coalition treasurer-general Hishammuddin Hussein.

“It is not our habit to talk in public,” he said after the BN Supreme Council meeting in Kuala Lumpur last night, adding that the coalition would reveal its decision ahead of today’s audience.

Meanwhile, MIC deputy president M. Saravanan reiterated that BN will not support any coalition to form the federal government.

“We hope the audience can be postponed… but we don’t know if it’s possible. We don’t want to form the government, but to state our stand (during the audience),” he said.

Earlier in the day, Al-Sultan Abdullah summoned the 30 BN MPs to Istana Negara to see him at 10.30am today. – Bernama, November 23, 2022.
