In the federal election, PN wrested Kuala Krau, Maran, Jerantut and Rompin from BN while also winning Kuantan, Indera Mahkota and Temerloh, for a total of seven seats.

BN managed to win only five, including Bera, the seat of Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob. The others were Lipis, Paya Besar, Cameron Highlands and Pekan.

PH held on to Raub and Bentong.

Pahang PN chief Saifuddin Abdullah kept the Indera Mahkota seat while former MCA president  Liow Tiong Lai lost in Bentong to DAP’s Young Syefura Othman. – Bernama, November 20, 2022.
